Birks is the Official
Supplier of Jewellery for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games.
As a Tier III supplier, Birks will provide Vancouver Organizing
Committe for the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter
Games (VANOC) with a uniquely Canadian gifting and licensed
merchandise program commemorating the 2010 Olympic and
Paralympic Winter Games. This important initiative was
born of shared values and of Birks' commitment to a long
term branding strategy reiterating the brand within Canada,
but also introducting the brand to a global audience.

Birks is extremely proud to take part in this journey
honouring the best athletes while celebrating excellence
as the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games shine on the
world wide stage.
The six-year partnership designates Birks as an
Official Supplier of Jewellery to the 2010 Olympic
Winter Games, including sponsorship rights to the
2012 Canadian Olympic Team in London, England.
Birks will create licensed products bearing the
Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
marks as well as the Canadian Olympic team emblem.
Birks will also be the exclusive licensee for distinctive
collections of fine jewellery with a value of more
than $150. These exclusive products will include
necklaces, earrings, pendants and rings.
Canadians will have an opportunity to purchase a
unique 2010 Winter Games piece of jewellery presented
in the iconic Birks blue box. Canadians and the
world will look to Birks as they celebrate excellence
and special moments during these historic Olympics.
